I had suffered from severe GERD for 25 years since high school. I'd been on every medication available, numerous diet and lifestyle changes and while everything helped a little, nothing helped a lot. Exercise was the biggest heartburn trigger making me struggle to keep an active lifestyle in my 40's. I was referred to Dr. Janu by a co-worker who loved the results from her TIF procedure, so I decided to give it a try. Dr. Janu was great to work with through the entire process and I have achieved significant relief was GERD. It's been 5 years since my procedure and I've had no issue easily controlling infrequent heartburn episodes. The TIF procedure was something that definitely helped a lot!

The surgery has 100% changed his life for the better. Dr. Janu is so knowledgeable, with an impeccable bedside manner. My husband had the surgery in 2016 and has not had to take any medication since, including TUMS. Dr. Janu's knowledge and professionalism is exactly what you would hope for in a provider. Dr. Janu did my TIF and hiatal hernia repair June 10, 2015. After suffering over 15 years with increasing reflux, heartburn and a general feeling of unwellness and hopelessness of ever finding a doctor that could help me, I found Dr. Janu. He diagnosed my problem from my symptoms, following up with an endoscopy and a couple tests. The surgery was gentle and the recovery, gentle as well with little discomfort. And the results with nothing short of a miracle. My symptoms disappeared like a “thief in the night.” Now, over four years later, I have not had the need for so much as an antacid. The TIF procedure and the skill and integrity of Dr. Janu is second to none.

I had the LINX procedure done by Dr. Janu. I was very impressed with Dr Janu and his staff. Everyone was fantastic! Very professional yet personable. The LINX procedure worked great for me. I suffered with bad GERD for many years. I had the procedure done over 6 months ago. I have not had even a trace of heartburn and I don't take any meds. I am so happy I had this done! A big thank you to Dr. Janu and all his staff!!
